Apriltage in Bayreuth
Das Projekt „Apriltage in Bayreuth“ beschäftigt sich mit den Bombenangriffen auf die fränkische Stadt und der damit verbundenen Zerstörung, welche sie im zweiten Weltkrieg plagte. In der interaktiven Animation kann der Besucher informative Einsichten über die grausamen Ereignisse im April erlangen. Dabei werden insbesondere die Orte der Bombeneinschläge, die Fliegertypen, die die Bomben abwarfen und die Folgen für die Bevölkerung dargestellt.
The project „Apriltage in Bayreuth“ illustrates the air raids and the destruction they brought to the franconian city during World War II. With an interactive animation the audience was able to get informative insights about this cruel incidents in April. Especially the locations of the bombings, the used airplane types which carried the bombs and the ramifications for the inhabitants are highlighted in this exhibit.
